Kyle Knudsen - San Diego Resident Who Enjoys Volunteering
Based in San Diego, Kyle Knudsen has attained sustained professional success, while also finding ways of giving back to the community. He has a love for animals, and regularly walks his dog along the Pacific Ocean. He contributes to cleanup efforts on daily excursions, picking up trash he comes across. Kyle Knudsen also enjoys ocean activities such as stand-up paddle boarding.
Mr. Knudsen snowboards and cross-country skis throughout the winter season, and enjoys backpacking and camping trips during the warmer months. He has ascended to the summit of Mt. Whitney and explored much of the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains. He holds American Red Cross certification in wilderness first aid and attended the Thomas Coyne Survival School, where he gained qualifications in basic safety and survival.
Mr. Knudsen’s volunteer experience includes several years working with the Helen Woodward Animal Center. He provided permanent staff members and technicians with multifaceted support. His care for rescue canines helped socialize them and prepare them for adoption. He also cleaned out kennels and took animals for walks, helping ensure they maintained proper fitness.
